    New Player Experience

    I believe there is a lot of room for improvement by way of getting new players acclimated to the game faster. First the tutorials need a lot of help and quite a bit more clarification. The creation of videos that give examples of use would really help. Maybe give some history and background in these videos too. Yes, going into low sec or null space is dangerous, but WHY is it? Why isn’t Concord out there or the four main races? CCP could devote a whole expansion to fleshing out the history and theme of EVE.

    Missions

    I would like to see revamped in a big way. Give the players more things to do and the AI more options when you get into a mission. I’m not talking Sleeper AI deadly but something in between. Promoting more teamwork would be good too. Say you have a mission where you must defend a stronghold from npc or even other mission runners attacking. Another idea is a mission where players must mine a few asteroids dry while fending off attackers. This would get haulers, miners, and combat ships all in the same mission working together.

    On the topic of level 4 missions, while I don’t believe they should be moved to lowsec I want there to be more rewarding ones in lowsec. The existing level 5′s in lowsec should be even more rewarding. This won’t hurt the players that have come to rely on these level 4′s in highsec but maybe encourage them towards lowsec and more rewards.

    Lowsec

    This area is a practically barren wasteland. You get none of protection that Highsec has nor any of the cool toys nullsec gets. Nullsec players have to go there to access Empire for logistic matters either by gates or cynoing in or out. Beyond that there is truly nothing unique to it. I want to see that change. Lowsec should focus on the struggle between justice and crime. There should be a system created where criminals can influence an area to become more dangerous and with that they get ISK generating benefits. Say a pirate faction might put some agents in the station where otherwise the criminal players would have to go into nullsec for those kind of missions. On the flip side, players wanting more justice could be rewarded with more protection in their systems. Making it safer for them to mine or run missions. I have plenty of ideas here and welcome the opportunity to corner some Devs and tell them about it.
